Why Smile.Stack?

We're weird; Get used to it.

Well, Let me tell you. Getting people to figure out a regular website (https://www.smile.rip/) is becoming futile. The more and more we spend on apps and short form media. The further and further we stray from my internet. People can barely navigate website if it’s not some e-commerce cookie cutter bull crap. So in this case the message is more important then the messenger and I will have to sub-come (lol substack, sub-come) in some way.

Could you image a place where there is no pandering, rage-baiting, click-baiting, masturbating, hating, berating, dictating and whatever else, lol. A utopian paradise. I don’t want my first post to be my master statement but, just to give a sample of some freeflow thoughts and kinda test what Substack even has to offer. As you know, I have been on a constant journey to bring back the world WIDE web and creativity. Keyword WIDE! As we ‘simplified’ the internet over time we actually stupefied it as well. We used to SURF THE NET. Sometimes visiting over 100 websites a day! Now, we are lucky to visit 4 a day and they all have us by the nuts and the wallet. Where did this expansive internet go that has over 1.2 BILLION WEBSITES?!

My goal is to explore thought on the subject of digital media, consumerism, creativity (or lack there of) and inspire life on the internet and OFF THE INTERNET. I also want to create poetry, art, maybe even story telling! All without the pressure to perform, go viral, get makeup on and sell my ‘self’! Amazing. Next ‘stack’ I wanna write will be about my TINY PHONE! Much anticipated article about how I ditched my iPhone and got a 2-inch phone that helped me break my doom-loop brainwash mind!
